christmas 2008: texas
Joe and I celebrated Christmas with both of our families this year. We spent the first week of our vacation with my family in Houston and the second week with Joe’s family in Midland. We were able to spend time with our parents, grandparents, old friends and college roommates. It was such a wonderful trip!
My mom and I spent one afternoon making peppermint bark for the neighbors. It was really good, so we decided to not give any to the neighbors! We will work on our generous Christmas spirit next year!
See…my parents really did have good intentions of giving these gifts to our neighbors!
Since we spend the Christmas season in Texas every year, we miss out on the one day a year where we actually want to see snow. So, we had a white Christmas- Texas style…
