Sam I Am’s 2nd Birthday Party!
This past weekend, we celebrated our little boy turning TWO years-old (even though his actual birthday isn’t until this Friday).
It was a wonderful day, despite the last minute change of plans to move everything inside due to weather. We figured our guests would rather be a little cramped cozy inside instead of stuck in a torrential downpour. Turns out, however, it didn’t start raining until the party was over, so we were able to spend some time outside, which we knew Sam would love!
When Joe and I were thinking about how we wanted to celebrate our son’s birthday, we knew we had to incorporate some of Sam’s favorite things at his party. This led us to… 1.) Invite lots of people that he loves to spend time with, 2.) Let him play outside with these friends, and 3.) Dr. Seuss!
When you have a son who loves Dr. Seuss and whose name is Sam, a party theme isn’t too hard to come up with: Green Eggs and Ham! Thank you to everyone who came over to celebrate our birthday boy with us, you made this day very special for our little guy!
Love it! You did a great job! Where did you get your cupcake holder? I’ve been looking for one like that.
You did a beautiful job (as always)! What a fun birthday party! Wish we could have joined you all…
I so wish I had been there. You did a wonderful job.
I’ve been waiting since Saturday to see the pictures!! I love your decorating and once again you did an excellent job! Happy birthday, Sam!
What a great party, Jenny! I love Sam’s #2 shirt! Looks like he had a fabulous time. You certainly have a talent there!
This was such a fun birthday party! I was so happy to be apart of it!! 🙂
This party looks amazing. I’m hoping to have one this good for my son, Samuel. I would love to incorporate some of your ideas (if you don’t mind). I especailly love the cupcake picks. Where did you get them? If you made them can you please share how you made them? I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Also the Red and White vs. all themed plates and tableware is soooo much cuter! Not sure who the photographer is, but he/she is terrific!
