happy 7 month birthday, peter!

Our littlest recently turned seven months old. In four short weeks, he has begun crawling, cut his first tooth, and eating a variety of solids (his favorites being avocado, sweet potato, and banana). He is so delightful and his belly laugh continues to be a bright spot in our day .

Without a doubt, our favorite thing about this past month has been watching our boys play together. In a room filled with books and blocks, there are two little brothers becoming the best of friends. Sam’s simply beside himself with excitement over his recent discovery. The little baby who did nothing but sleep and eat all day long is now his very own playmate, every single day!

We love watching them together. And we especially get a kick out of watching Sam”protect” Peter from danger. You know, the usuals: electrical outlets, basement staircases, Sam’s favorite toys. We’ve had some pretty close calls, but thankfully, Peter has yet to fall victim to Sam’s sock monkey.
