Our favorites from this month were: In the Town All Year Round, Richard Scarry’s Best Word Book Ever, and both Cornelius P. Mud books. Sam also really enjoyed the two Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder and Don’t Want to Go, by Shirley Hughes.
I bought Fool Moon Rising by T. Lively Fluharty, from Crossway, a little apprehensive about it, but I have really enjoyed it!
The moon steals the glory from the sun. He wants to make much of himself, until the sun points out his error. The moon repents and from then on, points to the sun as his source of light.
It’s a great tale!
