an evening at the ocean

On the last night of my family’s stay with us in Rockport, we decided to hop on the ferry and visit Port Aransas for the evening. We grabbed dinner at a great little Mexican restaurant and then headed to the beach. We let the kids play in the ocean and fly a kite for a bit and I snapped some pictures of the grandkids for my parents.
Two things were confirmed for me on this little trip: 1.) The absolute best time to visit the beach is in the evening, and 2.) My husband deserves an award for getting the absolute greatest laughs and smiles out of these kiddos.
