Notes:
Favorites of the summer have been: Ask Mr. Bear, McDuff’s Wild Romp, Carl’s Sleepy Afternoon, The Big Green Pocketbook, Katy No-Pocket, and No Roses for Harry.
If you are wanting some beautiful picture books to share with you kids, Day’s “Carl” books are wonderful, as well as Pinkney’s Noah’s Ark.

Make Way for Ducklings is one of my favorites of all time! Such a classic. You should try an audiobook of it if you can get it.
I remember reading some of these many times, especially–The Big Green Pocketbook.
Oh, and I love all the Carl books!
So many of my favorites on here!! How I love Robert McCloskey and Gene Zion. I don’t think I can read Clown of God without crying at the end. Good picks, Jenny!
If you like these, you’re the kind of mom who would probably love Tasha Tudor, also! Check out A Time to Keep; her own mom floated her birthday cake down a little stream. Beautiful, sweet illustrations.
